Red Bear Angels portfolio company Kalibri has announced the expansion of a significant industry partnership with the Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP) and the Asian American Hotel Owners Association (AAHOA) to advance the Professional Certificate in Hotel Profit Analysis (CHPA)—a program designed to help hotel professionals across all disciplines improve profitability through a shared framework and common metrics.
Building on the program's successful debut at AAHOACON, the three organizations will now make CHPA more broadly accessible to hotel owners, operators, finance professionals, commercial leaders, and management teams worldwide through HFTP's global professional development platform. The program focuses on four core areas critical to hotel financial health: revenue acquisition and retention, labor optimization, financial fluency, and operational efficiency.
"Hotel profitability doesn't belong to a single department," said Cindy Estis Green, co-founder and CEO of Kalibri. "CHPA creates a common language and framework that helps multidisciplinary teams make better decisions together, align around shared goals, and ultimately improve both profitability and asset value." The finalized CHPA program is expected to be available in September 2026 through HFTP's education platform and industry network.
